InDesign Calendar Maker

I'm definitely not a believer of the idiom "reinvent the wheel" so I told myself that I don't need to create tedious calendars. Here is a free script that creates calendars with multiple options and supports all InDesign versions. I found this at Adobe Marketplace & Exchange.

CLICK HERE for the ZIP file containing all the files required and installation instructions (README.txt).

They have a webstore with children's resource and are selling books of biographies and testimonies of christians who have been persecuted. Born Digital : How to Connect with the Digital Generation

The first computer I grew up with was bulky, heavy boxes in different shapes, has limited function and usually fixed in one location. Now, the computer got itself nicknames like “laptop” and “palmtop.” Modern computers come in different sizes, colors and designs depending on the price and the personality of its user. It became a convergence of functions, a calendar, calculator, camera, radio to name a few. Technology found a way to increase its mobility. More than the physical appearance and physical spaces it occupy, there is this so called “Digital Space” where those who were “Born Digital” connect.

Last day in the village

It was our last day in the village yesterday. After working on projects like Wawa's stories on E and the women making palm sugar, Angela's interview with a gamelan musician, Nory's write-up about T, James' editing the Vision Trip 2010 video, Ryan working on a design layout of a report, Chito's photo resizing and editing and Khieven's material gathering for a presentation video for Sunday's dinner, we also got to take a break and visit a batik factory.

The process was arduous, tedious, and required much creativity. The men worked on the difficult processes like stamping and the women intricately dyed and painted the fabric with skillful hands. No wonder some batik cloths take years to finish!

He is blessed to be using his talent for communications work! "Wow ha sido una expeiencia super hemosa!! Dios me a cambiado la manera de ver las cosas y la nesecidad que hay en esta area de ASIA Pasifica..."

Here's a sneak peek of what the team did yesterday...

Vision Trip 2010 is going on...

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G is the spelling of the trip thus far. Seven participants from different communications backgrounds and specializations come together to witness firsthand what God has been doing in this place. We just arrived from a village trip where we did what communications experts love doing - gathering media about God's work so we can tell the world.

Here's Khieven, a multimedia specialist who joined us as a photographer for this trip...

"There's a great need in this area of God's ministry that I never realized until I witnessed it personally."

Wawa, communications coordinator at WorldTeach Philippines, has something to say too...
