Born Digital : How to Connect with the Digital Generation

 

The first computer I grew up with was bulky, heavy boxes in different shapes, has limited function and usually fixed in one location. Now, the computer got itself nicknames like “laptop” and “palmtop.” Modern computers come in different sizes, colors and designs depending on the price and the personality of its user. It became a convergence of functions, a calendar, calculator, camera, radio to name a few. Technology found a way to increase its mobility. More than the physical appearance and physical spaces it occupy, there is this so called “Digital Space” where those who were “Born Digital” connect.

Writing for Radio – The Hamburger Analogy

 

When I think of writing scripts for radio and even for podcast, I think of a hamburger, not that I am always hungry, but it is easier to explain how radio scriptwriting is done. The buns represent the introduction and ending which are often called the intro and the extro, while the patty is the main topic or the information you want to serve to your target audience.
